The City of Busselton is located just over 200km or two hours south of Perth in Western Australia’s South West region. It is the largest population centre in the Margaret River Region and has some of the most spectacular natural scenery in Australia. With a resident population of around 38,926 people, Busselton has one of the fastest growing populations outside the Perth metropolitan area, experiencing an average annual growth rate of around 4% per annum.
Superb restaurants and a thriving arts community with numerous galleries showcasing the works of talented artisans are spread throughout the region. Other attractions include national parks, beaches, caves, wineries, micro-breweries and eco and cultural tourism sites. Opportunities lay in the progress of the $72m Busselton-Margaret River Airport expansion to accommodate interstate flights and future international service for tourism and freight industries;

The City of Busselton is a local government area in the South West region of Western Australia, approximately 230 km (140 mi) south of Perth, the state capital. The city covers an area of 1,455 km2 (562 sq mi) and had a population of 36,686 as at the 2016 Census. It contains two large towns, Busselton and Dunsborough, and a number of smaller towns. The city office is located on Southern Drive, Busselton.
